I have a few things that I need to get done at the shops including grocery shopping. Shopping at Chatswood seems to take a little more planning and advance work than any other place I have lived. There is a very fine balancing act with the timing. If I leave too early I hit the bad traffic and it can take half an hour to travel across one suburb. However, if I leave too late I will end up circling round and round the carpark trying to find a place to park. If I leave within the 'good window' I am able to do the grocery shopping and complete a few other tasks before I have to start paying for parking or need to feed Erica again. This morning everything fell into place and we were ready to leave for the shops within the 'good window'. We were just about to get into the car when I discovered that I had left my purse in David's car (who was on the other side of the city for work). Aaargh!
We decided to head to the park instead. Hence the photo above. Ethan was very happy with this alternative. He usually hates grocery shopping.
