Today was 'Special Person Day' at Ethan's Preschool. Ethan invited Erica to be his special person, in lieu of a Grandparent, Aunty or Uncle living within close proximity. He wrote a list of things he wanted to show Erica at Preschool. They tried out the slide, looked at the playdough (Ethan insisted we were only looking and not using!), made a car at the craft table, played dress-up and built a castle (on wheels) with blocks. Erica seemed to most enjoy the slide and the blocks.
Ethan drew a picture for Erica to take home. It showed them both surfing.
On the back he wrote: "I love Erica because she is my little sister. She plays with her toys with me and she laughs at my silly faces."
