Last Saturday we had another blissful University-free Saturday. The weather was warm and sunny, so we headed to the beach. We decided to try Maroubra. David gave Ethan some surfing lessons while Erica and I played in the sand.
We discovered another Australian 'big thing'. At Maroubra there is a giant rubik's cube sitting on the beach. Apparently this used to simply be a giant block of concrete, until a couple of artists transformed it in the middle of the night.
