We had a great time celebrating New Year's Eve last night. We started the evening with a BBQ and some frisbee throwing. After the children had been bathed and dressed, it was time to head out to catch the 9pm harbour fireworks. Fortunately the next suburb over has some great harbour views, so we had a close vantage point that meant we didn't have to sit in slow-moving traffic for very long. Once we returned home the children were put in bed, and the adults embarked on a Guinness World Records wii tournament. Kerin and Steve were victorious. We headed back out to catch the 12pm fireworks and they were spectaular! It was wonderful to watch fireworks shooting from the Harbour Bridge, from the tops of buildings in the CBD and different points along the harbour all at the same time.
