Harmony Day

Can you see Ethan? This was taken at his school's 'Harmony Day' assembly. The children were invited to wear orange or clothes that reflected their cultural heritage. I gather that the assembly was about unity and celebrating diversity. I can't be entirely sure because we only had a few minutes of watching the assembly before Erica decided that the best place to stand would be in the middle of the goal posts on the sports field.

Ethan didn't mind because we were available for the 'really important parts' - buying him some food and an item from the book fair. The book fair was full of books (obviously), but Ethan decided that he absolutely had to have the poster of a Ferrari (which now takes pride of place on his bedroom wall). I was ok with this choice because he isn't exactly deprived of books and reading. He finished all 90 levels of reading eggs in two weeks!! David was very impressed with the choice.
