Erica turned two a couple of weeks ago. She started her Birthday by opening her presents and eating her favourite breakfast of honey wheats. Unfortunately Erica had a cold (and on top of that she gave herself a pretty nasty cut on her lower lip the previous day), so we couldn't go ahead with some of the activities we had planned. However, she did have fun playing on the slippery slide at the park around the corner. When we returned home Erica played with her toys some more and then went to sleep. She stayed asleep until dinner-time (as per her cold).
This is Erica's Dora the Explorer ice-cream Birthday cake (with Erica's hand stealing a smartie). I loved 'making' this cake because it was so easy to put together and my ice-cream loving girl also really appreciated it. Erica and I had fun sorting through the candles in the party section of Coles to decide which was her favourtie. Dora was the clear winner and barely made it out of the store still packaged.
