Ethan lost his first tooth last night. It fell out while he was eating an apple. I took the tooth to rinse off the blood and accidentally dropped it down the sink. I thought Ethan would be upset when I broke the news to him, but instead he surprised me by saying "oh well, we'll just write a note for the tooth fairy".
