Ethan was given a homework assignment this week to write a story. He came up with this story about Batman (although I think there is a fair bit of 'borrowing' from existing Batman stories). He did a great job, so I thought I would share. As it is a bit difficult to read it directly from the above picture, I will retype below (keeping the kindergarten spelling and grammatical errors)..
In the deep dark lair of the Batman (Ethan reads this part in a very deep voice).

Oh I sold it and I got a popcorn mega. want some popcorn Robin?
no Batman the thing is the mayor he's been hurt.
oh my gosh when was this Robin?
two days ago.
whoah why wasn's i told?
Batman is't your folt. you were tring to get a hi score for galicka and you wouldn't talk to me for several days.
So Batman and Robin went on a adventure and trapped the riddler.
I like how quickly the story resolves! Ethan is working on a new Batman book now with chapters.
