Round Round Get Around How Erica Gets Around

For the past four days Ethan has been doing this..

Actually that looks like he is scratching his back with a tennis racquet.

Ethan has been at tennis camp. From 9am to 4pm everyday Ethan has been undergoing 'intensive' tennis training (actually lots of games and a few hits at a tennis ball).

As the tennis courts are located on our street, Erica has been able to hear the fun the children are having. After the first day she asked if she could go to tennis camp too. At two years old Erica isn't ready for that, but I decided to organise some activities for us to enjoy while Ethan was away having his fun. We got as far as the first activity and that one stuck!

Erica loves riding her tricycle, but up until recently 'riding' involved me doing lots of pushing. Over the last week while we have been away it seems that Erica's legs have grown that extra half cm and she can now push the pedals around herself. After she discovered her new riding ability, Erica spent the day cycling from one place to another inside the house (on the tiles). She would call out her intended location and then pedal herself there

Yesterday she rode to the park and was very pleased with herself.  When Erica stopped to smell some flowers, I was able to snap a picture of the basket at the back of her tricycle. Spiderbaby still gets to accompany us to the park.
