Two Year Old Accessorising

I don't tend to put a lot of thought into accessories. I wear my wedding ring and engagement ring and rarely add anything else to my outfits. Erica on the other hand spends some time every morning adding her own twist to the outfits I select for her. I try to be open minded about her choices, despite some of the odd looks we attract at school. Here are some of Erica's efforts from the past couple of weeks..

Princess dress added over the top of her clothes and accompanied by many princessly/ballerina poses.

The shoes I picked were removed and replaced with too-big hand-me-down gumboots. The binoculars necklace is a nod to Diego.

Erica actually didn't change this outfit at all, but she took the mallet from her xylophone and played it like a trumpet (all the way to and from school).

This one is a very popular choice. She likes to pack her own "packpack" (like Dora) with all sorts of random items. She often selects one item to show the lollipop man (who stands on the other side of the street from us resulting in Erica waving the item around and yelling out what it is). The lollipop man has told me that this makes his day.

By the way, I love those shorts. I bought them purely because they remind me of this..

Yep, the curtain clothes from The Sound of Music.

And last but not least - moose head with aeroplane 'handbag'. It's a classic.
