Coffs Harbour

I'm still alive! Huzzah! I have had a little 'blogging break' while also having a real-life break. David, Ethan, Erica and I travelled to Queensland during December to visit family for Christmas. Now we have returned home and I am embarking on the process of uploading and sorting through all of our photos.

On our way to QLD we stopped overnight in Coffs Harbour to break up the trip. It was a short stay and we didn't venture very far (we stayed in the resort the entire time), but we had a lot of fun.....

Incredible excitement was displayed by Ethan when he spotted this water slide. It was well used.

Many hours were spent swimming in the pool. As you can see from the photos, there weren't many people around as the NSW school holidays hadn't officially started yet. Ethan's school placed their student-free days as the last two days of term, letting us start our holidays early. Thank you clever Principal, we love your work!

Pictures from our morning walk to a lookout.

Our new 'friend/pet for a day'. He (or maybe she?) reminds me of the lizards I used to see in the backyard of my childhood home in Brisbane. I'm grateful they don't visit our backyard in Sydney. Although maybe they would be preferable to the giant spiders.
