This year the Easter Bunny decided to err on the side of chocolate moderation. So, Ethan and Erica each received a small amount of chocolate plus one practical clothing item. Erica received Hello Kitty slippers (which happen to match her pyjamas - how clever is the Easter Bunny!).........
Despite feeling like I was spending the entire weekend in the kitchen (we had a few different things going on that I was making food for), I didn't end up making my own batch of hot cross buns this year. However, I did try a recipe for Hot Cross Bun pudding. It had dark chocolate, pear and lots of cream. It was good and even better the next day!.........
Ethan received a Star Wars shirt, which was a big hit. Here he is striking some sort of Jedi pose (I think)............
