Ethan's school athletics carnival was last week. Ethan won the 7 year old boys race. Unfortunately I wasn't able to be there to cheer him on, as Erica and I were at the hospital (for a scheduled appointment, not an emergency). We did however make it on time for the little brothers and sister's race. Erica came last. Largely because once she ran past me on the side-line she stopped, turned around and decided she wouldn't finish the race unless I ran with her. So technically Erica and I both finished last.
