Erica and I have completed another cooking project. This time we made a lemon meringue pie.
We ate it last week at a special family dinner celebrating 10 years of marriage for David and myself. We are now officially onto our second decade!
Ethan has also joined in on the cooking-lesson fun. He doesn't want to make desserts, which is Erica's favourite. Ethan would like to learn to make some dinners. He has a plan that when he is old enough he will start earning his pocket money by cooking dinners, rather than emptying the dishwasher.
Ethan's first request was for me to teach him how to make hot dogs. We completed that lesson a few weeks ago. I think he could handle that on his own now. However I will definitely need to expand his repertoire as I don't want our family eating hot dogs on a weekly basis.
