San Diego Temple

The San Diego temple is indeed a beautiful building. There were a few things that stood out to me from our short visit there...
1) The building was smaller in real life than I had imagined. I had pictured something approximating a castle. Not quite that big in reality.

2) Nearly every picture we took outside the temple includes one or both of us squinting. There was a lot of glare and we had both left our sunglasses in the car. Refer to my squinting in the picture above.

3) This is the point in our day where David and I realised that we had unwittingly dressed in matching outfits. Up until that point one or both of us had been wearing a jacket. The first person we came across at the temple said to us "don't you two look cute in your matching shirts". David and I looked at each other in horror. A few more people we came across at the temple commented on our clothes (in a good-natured way).
