Sculpture by the Sea

Sculpture by the Sea is held annually in Sydney. Over 100 sculptures are temporarily on exhibition along the Bondi to Tamarama coastal walk. We visited on Saturday. Our day began with a picnic breakfast on Bondi Beach to give us some fuel for the walk ahead.

Ethan with a zebra, called 'Simply Black & White'. We arrived fairly early in the morning, but as you can see behind Ethan, there were already a lot of people doing the walk.

'The Nail'

Ethan washing his hair. This sculpture is called 'Who Left the Tap Running?'. From behind, the tap looked as though it was directly pointing over the ocean.

Ethan trying to get Erica to wash her hair as well. Erica refused because she was worried that water may come out of the tap.

'Hokusai's Child'

'Meeting 1'. Ethan chairing the meeting.

'I Have Been Dreaming to be a Tree.....II'

The kids ecstatic to find something that didn't say 'please do not touch'.
