When we arrived in Fiji it was about 6am and pouring with rain (as above). The weather didn't bother us at all because our plan was to shower and have a long sleep. We had spent all night on a plane and gone through a time change in the process.
My journey in particular was a bit rough. My seat wouldn't stay upright and reclined every time I leaned back even slightly, my entertainment unit was broken and the man sitting next to me kept nudging me in his sleep. I'll stop whinging about my first world problems now.
After we had finished catching up on sleep we discovered that the sun had appeared (as above). Hooray!
We then embarked on a very strenuous schedule of.........

eating........and more eating. I think I had managed to get through an entire holiday without gaining weight until we hit the breakfast buffet at the Sofitel.

which lead to a few hours of actual activity. We visited the island above, where we did some snorkeling and sea kayaking. Then we returned back to the resort and did more eating and sitting around. David was a big fan of this schedule.
