After having visited the Warner Bros. Studio in California and seeing some of the Harry Potter costumes and props, I knew that Ethan would love the Harry Potter Exhibition currently showing in Sydney at the Powerhouse Museum.
We visited earlier this week and Ethan had a great time. He really enjoyed shooting quaffles through quidditch hoops, pulling Mandrakes from their pots, seeing Buckbeak and a Hungarian Horntail dragon. I enjoyed seeing props up close such as wands (lots of wands), food from the feasts in the Great Hall, the Deathly Hallows, horcruxes etc.
Above is Ethan standing below the flying Ford Anglia. We weren't allowed to take photos inside the actual exhibition - apparently it upsets the house elves.

Very conveniently the Powerhouse Museum also has a Wiggles Exhibition running at the moment. This kept Erica (and David and Nan) very entertained while Ethan and I wondered through the Harry Potter Exhibition. Erica in the big red car above.
After we had all met up again, Erica wanted Ethan and I to see some of her 'favourites' in the Wiggles Exhibition. Above is Ethan and Erica playing a fruit salad Kinect game.
Ethan and Erica outside of the Powerhouse Museum as we were strolling to Darling Harbour to............
check out the new playground. The new playground at Darling Harbour is fantastic (maybe even better than Hays Paddock). Above is Erica pumping some water. She told me that it is "very hard work".

We will return to this playground again, but next time we will make sure it isn't a public holiday. A lot of people had the same idea as us (see above).
A successful morning!
