Erica can be a bit of a harsh critic sometimes. Often after she has had the first bite of her dinner (or even before) she will declare "I HATE this" or "this is DISGUSTING".
David and I have been trying to teach Erica to express herself in a kinder manner.
Last night we had lasagne for dinner. Erica took a bite and I could see her thinking about something. After a little while she said to me......
"Mum, I was really hoping that this dinner would be yummier".
