We seem to be making a bit of a habit of this - spending the Easter school holidays in Melbourne. David and I made a fairly late decision to head to Melbourne with the entire family. David had a work requirement there which overlapped with the school holidays.
Above is Ethan looking remarkably chipper for an early morning start. Erica was so excited about going on holidays that when David and I went into her room to wake her up that morning she was already awake, fully dressed and sitting up on her bed. We aren't sure what time it was when she decided to get up and dress herself, but it was still dark when we went into her room.
Erica wearing her 3D glasses on the plane. Ethan, Erica and David were invited to visit the cockpit. Ethan tells me he sat in the pilot's seat and learnt how to fly the plane. How cool! - though I'm very sure it takes longer than 5 minutes to learn how to fly a plane.
