During the school holidays we spent a wonderful week at Evans Head. David's family organises an extended family holiday every year and this year was the 30th Anniversary of that tradition. We were very happy to be involved in the momentous 30th year!
This is Erica and I during a short walk in the rainforest at Victoria Park. Erica thought the 'jungle' was awesome. She ended up doing the circuit three times. After her walk with me, she gave David a tour and then did the circuit again with Aunty Karen.
A rare family photo taken after Church on Sunday.
We were fortunate this year to get some great beach weather, and so spent a lot of time on the sand.
The kids in their 'Jeffrey Family Reunion' t-shirts. Ethan brought his t-shirt to school this week for 'show and tell'. He talked to his class about what he did during the school holidays.
Erica collecting shells. She previously had a large rock collection at home on her bookshelf, but that has now been replaced with a large shell collection.
Looking cool in Mum's sunglasses.
Erica's favourite part of the holiday - the hammock. Erica went for a visit to Aunty Jenny's holiday house and when she came back to us she said to me "Aunty Jenny's house is very nice, but it isn't as good as our house because it doesn't have a hammock".
Playing on the hammock.
Ethan's favourite activity - riding on the Maurer family's surfmat.
Beach games. Ethan is in the middle wearing the red cap.
Cousin love!
