Erica likes to draw pictures during Church. Every week she creates a masterpiece that she then folds carefully and presents to David at the end of sacrament meeting.
A few weeks ago Erica decided to draw a picture for me! I felt very privileged because she doesn't select me as her recipient very often. I unfolded my little package to reveal the picture above. Erica explained to me that she had drawn a picture of me walking a moose - as you do.
I whispered to Erica how great her drawing was, then asked her if she would also like to draw a picture for Daddy. She whispered "no I don't need to, I'll just give him that one" and took back my picture! She then later presented the drawing to David telling him that it was a picture of him walking a moose.
I felt slightly disappointed that my gift was rescinded, but on the other hand I was also impressed with Erica's desire for maximum efficiency.
