Erica's preschool class performed a puppet show for the parents. It was inadvertently scheduled for the exact same time as the Melbourne Cup race. I'll take a group of four and five year olds performing a puppet show any day. It was fantastic and chaotic.
The story the class performed was 'The Gingerbread Man'. In the original story Erica and her group (another four children) were supposed to be farmers. However, they all decided that they would rather be superheroes. So Erica made her 'farmer' puppet into Batwoman. It was painted black and given pointy ears.
As you can see from the big smile on Erica's face in the two pictures above she absolutely loved performing in the puppet show.
