Our Christmas Day was great - lots of fun presents, lots of tasty food (that had mostly been pre-prepared!), lots of time to rest and play with toys. Unfortunately also lots of rain and lots of morning sickness for Megan. But overall still a great day.
Ready for Santa to visit - a chocolate chip cookie and candy cane milk for Santa, a red apple for Rudolph and a carrot for the rest of the reindeer to share.
Opening presents the next morning. What could this be?
A hula hoop!
A new bike for Erica.
A Lego set for Ethan.
Christmas breakfast.
Christmas lunch, which we didn't eat until 2pm because we were still full from breakfast.
Christmas dessert, which we didn't eat until 6pm because we were still full from lunch and we called this dinner! If you look out of the windows behind the table you can see how wet it was all day. A little disappointing for children who received a boogie board (Ethan), water toys (Erica) and a Slip N Slide (both).
It fined up a little the next day, though it still wasn't that warm. However the kids declared the weather to be more than fine for trying the Slip N Slide. They had a great time.
The weather turned sunny and warm the following day, so David was then able to take the kids to the beach to try out the boogie board and water toys.
