One week before moving house and six months pregnant (and still enduring some morning sickness), I pulled out a note from Erica's school bag informing me that there would be an Easter Bonnet Parade the following week. Logically I probably should have just bought her a pair of bunny ears and been done with it, but for some reason I just couldn't do that (it's a sickness).
A day later I was walking through Chatswood and passed a $2 store that was shutting down and had all of their stock half price. I had a fun 20 minutes picking out lots of crafty Easter items amongst many other bargain-hungry shoppers. Erica and I chose a hat that was already in the dress-up box at home and glued/stitched on ribbon, flowers, easter eggs and chicks as decoration. This is the finished product.....
