By Erica - hahaha I am throwing wrapping paper in Daddy's face.
By Erica - I was excited to see my Pillow Pet. I love her so much and I am happy for a butterfly and I love it so so so so so so much.
By Erica - I really wanted a Cinderella Barbie doll because she is so beautiful. She has real glass slippers, but they can't break because they are very strong. I know why they did that because they didn't want the glass slippers to break.
By Megan - the 'glass' slippers are made of plastic. Erica thinks they are awesome though. She would like her own pair of glass slippers, but David and I have explained that they probably wouldn't be very practical footwear.
By Erica - I love my breakfast because I picked it out.
We had grapes, pancakes, juice and hot cross buns. Ethan and I took the pin-wheels I let Ethan have the silver one and I got the pink one. I wore my badge to school. I was the Birthday girl. Everybody at school liked my cupcakes.
By Erica - I picked my Sleeping Beauty cake out and I wanted flowers on it because it looks pretty. The top is just a toy. The dress is a birthday cake. Mummy and I put a ribbon on the bottom of the skirt. It looks pretty with it and I helped with the flowers. We figured out finally how to put the candles on.
By Megan - Erica saw this cake in Woolworths and loved it. She looked through all of my birthday cake books as well and picked out a poodle cake. When I costed the poodle cake it turned out it would be more expensive (not to mention more time-consuming) than the bought Sleeping Beauty cake! I think Sleeping Beauty looks slightly angry and 'mannish', but Erica was thrilled. The cake inside tasted surprisingly nice.
By Erica - I love my dinner. We had chilli con carne. Mummy makes her own recipe up. I didn't have avocado or sour cream or tomato because I don't like it. I started off with fizzy drink because I am the birthday girl.
By Megan - Our family rule is that if there is other drink at dinner such as juice, soft drink, cordial etc (which usually there is not), everybody has to drink a glass of water first. Erica thought it was pretty special to be able to start immediately with her favourite drink - Fanta.
By Erica - I love my Birthday cake. I like pushing a hole through it with the top of my toy. I was getting ready to blow the candles out.
By Erica - I blew the candles out before Mummy got to take a picture. That was so funny. So long cool dudes.
