Erica asked us (David, myself and Ethan) last night if she could sing a song for us. We said that we would love to hear her sing. Erica introduced her song by saying "I learnt this at school and it is called 'All Australians Fail'". She then proceeded to sing the national anthem.
We had trouble keeping a straight face and then explained to Erica at the end of her song that our national anthem is actually called 'Advance Australia Fair'.
This also reminds me of a Family Home Evening a couple of months ago when we sang the first verse of 'I am a Child of God'. Erica asked if we could sing another verse, to which David replied "sure, which one would you like to sing?". Erica said "can we sing the verse about so my knees are grey?". We realised that Erica had been singing the line "and so my needs are great" as "and so my knees are grey".
