Mum went along to Ethan's athletics carnival to be his cheer squad, as I had just been discharged from the hospital the day before.
This is Ethan running a 100m race. He is in the red shirt on the left-hand side.
Ethan ended up finishing first out of the 9 year old boys for the 100m sprint final, so will go to the Zone carnival to represent his school. He is also heading to Zone for long jump. Ethan finished 2nd in long jump out of all of the junior children (a category which includes all of the children who are 10 years old as well). We were very impressed that Ethan did so well when competing against children who are older than him.
