Has finished the soccer season. His team made it to the semi-finals and then got knocked out. Ethan was excited to score a hat-trick (three goals) during one of the finals games. On Club Day his team won the final in what seemed like the world's longest soccer match. The score was 0-0, so they just kept playing under the assumption of 'next goal wins'. After lots more play, the next goal didn't eventuate, so they ended up giving each child a kick at the goal (without a goalie) and counted those.
Ethan is now a green belt in Karate (that actually happened about two months ago).
Ethan competed at Regional level for the 100m sprint. His time wasn't fast enough to go onto State. In fact it was a bit slower than his usual, but Ethan was really happy because he got to run at the Sydney Olympic Park and has a cool jumper from the event.
