Erica has been doing a unit at school on the ocean. She has visited the Sydney Aquarium and went to the Imax Theatre to watch a movie about ocean animals.
The kids dressed up last week as a favourite ocean animal. Erica picked jellyfish. There were two other jellyfish in Erica's class. I hadn't realised that jellyfish were so popular!
This week Erica had to prepare a project on an ocean animal and do a presentation. She decided to do a diorama on stingrays. Above is Erica doing some painting for her diorama.
The finished project. Thank goodness for origami, because I wasn't sure how else we were going to make a stingray (or two stingrays in this case because Erica insisted there had to be a Mummy and a baby).
