In Erica's school class they have a 'pet' bee. Her name is Betty Bumble and she gets to come home with one of the class members each weekend. The child then takes pictures with Betty and records their adventures in a journal.
Betty has some uncanny timing. Her first trip home to our house was on the weekend that I gave birth to Clara. Her next adventure with us was over these last school holidays and so she accompanied us to Evans Head.
Erica decided to make little speech bubbles for Betty to go with her pictures in the journal. I thought they were cute, so we decided to share them here too.....
The first picture is at a park near our house. The second picture was taken when Erica was making her own paper fan. The third picture is at the Harbour looking at the ships in town for the Naval Fleet Review.
