From Ethan: I had some Ninja Turtle toys sitting in my cupboard that I hadn't played with for a long time. Mum asked if I would like to learn how to use ebay. I said "yes". We sold the Ninja Turtles in two different lots. The first one sold for $25 and the toys above sold for $41. I was really happy because this is way more than my pocket money!
Megan: The first set of toys sold to a Mum who was buying them for her children for Christmas. The second set sold to a Grandma who bought the toys for her TMNT-loving grandchildren. Ethan liked the idea that his toys would continue to be played with. He also really likes the profit and is now figuring out what else he can sell :) I am all for the de-cluttering, but have placed an embargo on some toys that I would like to keep for future generations.
