I love our Sunday family dinners during December.
We set the table with our Christmas pyramid as the centrepiece
(the thing in the middle of the table with candles). The rising heat from the candles causes the windmill/propellers above to turn. This spins the carousel around. Ours has two platforms - the bottom one with a nativity scene and the top with the Three Wise Men.

We have some special Christmas meals that we prepare (and eat!) during December.
Above is Erica helping to prepare dessert.
I like plum pudding, but more so during the cold of Winter. Maybe we should start a Christmas in July tradition - though I don't know if I could handle bringing out the Christmas decorations twice a year. In the heat of Australian Summer I prefer Christmas desserts that are a little lighter and cooler. Every year (except last year when I had morning sickness so strong that even ice-cream wasn't appealing) we make Christmas ice-cream sandwiches. I use Tovolo moulds to get the cute shapes.
