Erica discovered that she really likes the television program The Great British Bake Off, so we did some baking projects. Above is White Chocolate Chip, Macadamia, Coconut and Lime biscuits. Erica seemed to prefer being a judge rather than a baker. I received a lot of critique for my cooking over the holidays.
Ethan also discovered that he really likes the television program Auction Hunters. We didn't buy the contents of an abandoned storage unit though.
This large stick insect hung around near our front door for a couple of days. It terrorised Erica, who used the back door exclusively for a while.
Erica had an early Birthday party while Nan was here, because we don't think Nan will be able to visit when it is Erica's real Birthday. Nan took Ethan and Erica to the movies. Then Erica was able to open her presents from Nan, Pa and the Buckle family. We even had a Birthday cake - a raspberry and white chocolate cheesecake. Lucky girl!
The kids had fun playing at Sydney Olympic Park. In the picture of Ethan above he is taking some shots with his waterproof camera. In the last picture of Erica she is practicing gymnastics.
