Erica loves listening to her ipod.
She spotted these cool shoes in Big W. Erica loves them, but alas we didn't buy them. She already has a pair of red cowboy boots for this Winter - also very loved. Erica appreciates a good shoe.

During Erica's first gymnastics class the groups were rotating around the different apparatus. Erica's beginner group was following a group of boys 9-11 years of age. Ethan and I watched as the boys each tried to climb a rope that was hanging from the ceiling. They each struggled. Erica's group came to the ropes next and Erica scaled straight up the rope easily. Ethan and I giggled as we watched the boy's group watching Erica with their mouths agape. We think Erica's ability probably has to do with her light body, rather than some sort of super-human strength.
Erica received a Gold Award at school. This is a big deal and represents lots and lots of good behavior and recognition for good work. Erica is out of school uniform because her class had just finished a performance. I will post a video of that later. Erica also competed in the finals of the school public speaking competition and did a fantastic job.
