Baby Selfies

I have always assumed that as the parent I am smarter than my children (although hope to be overtaken one day).  Then your kids (even the littlest one) do things to make you wonder if you might have that equation turned around the wrong way.

Clara lately has taken to stealing my phone and taking selfies.  Her arms are growing at a faster rate than my brain can compute to place the phone further back on the bench.  I now regularly find little movies and pictures stored for 'me'.  Perhaps we are dealing with some sort of super-generation of babies - a bunch of little tech-wizards who just pretend that they can't really change their own nappy and put on their own shoes.

This is Clara pointing to some ducks* in our front yard.  She was saying "ber ber ber" (bird).  She can also say Mum, Dad, yes & amen.  I know! - practically a genius! :)

*  On a side note there is a 'duck crossing' sign on our new street.  There is also an 'aged pedestrians' sign.  That pretty much sums up our new neighbourhood.

** On another note, while I was writing this, Clara stole my phone again.
