Family Holiday

Erica gave a talk in Primary yesterday.  She is the master of the ad-lib.  We will carefully prepare a talk and she almost always goes off script.  Yesterday she started discussing her 52 cousins (we might need to check that stat) and how awesome they all are.  She told the Primary that she has just been on a family holiday at Evans Head and she is so blessed to have an extended family.  What a sweetheart.

We all had a great time again at the Jeffrey family reunion.  Here are some pictures of our fun...

Erica with her body board.  She loved being in the water.  By the end of the week she was getting very good at catching waves.

The 4WD convoy collecting rubbish along the beach.

Ethan was our designated rubbish collector.  A role he relished.

Another one of Ethan's efforts.

Clara watching Ethan run along beside the car.  Very lady-like legs.

When I was a child I remember collecting rocks and throwing them into the sea.  As I got older I was thrilled if I could manage a perfect skim across the surface of the water.  Ethan has different priorities.  Never passing up an opportunity to hone his athletics skills, Ethan scoured the beach for perfect flat round stones and used them to practise his discus throw.

Erica and Grace daring each other to run through the water-park.

Ethan enjoying the water.

Playing some mini-golf.

Overlooking Evans Head in the morning right before we left to drive home.
