Our new place is not far from a ferry stop. We have decided to get back on the public transport bandwagon and bought ourselves Opal cards. Actually three of us are really excited about riding the ferry, one of us doesn't know enough words yet to express an opinion and one of us is very partial to cars (I'm sure you can guess who is who).
Our first try of the ferry was a trip to Darling Harbour. It took a total of 15 minutes to get from our front door to Darling Harbour - not bad! Hopefully this will make us slightly more motivated to get involved in the different festivals/events happening in the city.
