Erica has now mastered independent bike riding. We probably should have taught this skill some time ago, but better late than never. We went for a family outing bike riding/skateboarding at The Olympic Park. There was a much younger girl there riding a bicycle without training wheels. David decided it was probably time for Erica to loose her training wheels. It turns out Erica must have had the ability to ride a bike unaided already because she was riding independently in no time. David removed the training wheels, gave Erica a little push-off, held onto the back of the bicycle for a few pedals and then let go. Erica kept riding and has never looked back! She is very enthusiastic about riding now - her bicycle is currently sitting as a permanent feature in my boot.
Mum, please stop taking pictures and let me ride!
Some videos..
