Ethan: Mum, do clowns get paid well?
Me: I'm not sure, but no I don't think they get paid particularly well.
Ethan: Ok. It's probably too early to start deciding on a career anyway.
Me: Would you like a career in the circus?
Ethan: No, Erica wants to be a clown.
Me to Erica: Do you want to be a clown when you grow up?
Erica: Yes. My first choice is teacher, second choice is ballerina and third choice is clown!
Now Erica is talking about how she could be the first Santa Clown and how she would walk on her hands dressed in a Santa suit.
