The Return of Jingle

The jig is up on Jingle.  Ethan already knew what was going on there and Erica is now wise to it too.

I suggested that maybe we could give Jingle a rest for a year until Clara was old enough to enjoy the magic of our special elf visitor from the North Pole.  The kids greatly protested and insisted that Jingle definitely needed to reappear on December 1st on the dot.  I was fine with this because I do find it quite fun to invent new hiding places and scenarios for him.

This year I have had some help too!  Ethan and Erica have each been taking one turn per week.

On his first day back Jingle had some fun with wrapping paper..

Jingle wrapped up the children's school bags.  Then when they walked outside to put on their shoes they discovered that Jingle had been out there too..

Jingle atop a plastic cup pyramid.  Erica photobombing Jingle.

Gone fishing in the bathtub.

Enjoying an ice-cream cone in the freezer.

A new DVD for one of our family Christmas movie nights.

Jingle getting ready to go Christmas shopping.  This was one of Erica's turns.  That is Erica's purse that Jingle is holding.  He is sitting inside Erica's Christmas stocking.

Do you want to build a snowman gingerbread house? (the picture is of Ana from Frozen)

In the Death Star facing off with Darth Vader.  This was one of Ethan's turns.  He actually wanted to make it far more elaborate and re-construct some of his Star Wars Lego sets (currently in boxes after having moved house).  Alas there wasn't enough time for that.  Darth Vader teddy bear is pretty cute.

Wearing some of Erica's bead creations.  Jingle is sitting on Erica's shelf here, but this was the most difficult spot for Erica to locate him - more difficult than inside the freezer.
