It was a big day for both Ethan and Erica..
Ethan finished third in his school cross country! He was happy with this result, because he isn't "that great at long distance" (apparently - I think he is pretty good). He will compete in the Zone competition next term.
Erica won her public speaking competition! She was beyond thrilled. There is no next level for her to compete at - that doesn't start until next year. Apparently she will receive an award/trophy at the next school assembly. Erica was very nervous this morning and told me that she didn't want to present her speech anymore, but fortunately she found some courage and went through with it in the end.
