Ethan had his school athletics carnival recently. He is running in the shot above, but it is hard to see due to the other people standing on either side of the track. Ethan is out ahead wearing a red and blue shirt on the left-hand side of the picture (there is an arrow pointing to him). He finished first in that race. Ethan is off to Zone next term. However, he still has to do the school field events first. On a side note, that has got to be one of the most picturesque locations for a school athletics carnival I have seen. Ethan is a bit spoiled in that regard. From his classroom he can see Centrepoint Tower, Anzac bridge and the city. Not bad! I wonder if the kids spend much time staring out the window.
Here is Clara at the athletics carnival. Ethan's friends told me that she looks 'swag' (which I think is a good thing). She loves those glasses - a worker at an op shop gave them to her as a gift.
