Here is Ethan with his soccer team. They recently finished up the season. They did really well eventually being knocked out at the semi-finals in a very close match that came down to corners. They were an excellent team and a really great group of boys. Ethan played goal keeper and back. He liked playing goal keeper, but I personally (and I'm just a spectator) found it stressful.
Ethan's school soccer team also did really well - actually REALLY well. They have a national player, a bunch of rep players and first division club players (like Ethan), so they consistently won convincingly. They played games where they made up their own aims, beyond the basic one of just winning. So for example they would try to have every member of the team score a goal, including the keeper.
Ethan is enjoying school and likes his new class. He spent two days doing performance poetry for a special regional class. I received mixed reviews on that one from Ethan. He did learn, but wasn't super keen on the performing of the poetry.
He was also able to join in with the local high school band for a day and enjoyed that.
Ethan and Erica took David to see Les Miserables for Father's Day. They all loved it.
