Given Halloween fell on a Saturday this year, we were able to kick off the festivities at lunch-time! We had jack-o-lantern hamburgers and butter beer (i.e. - from Harry Potter). Erica decorated our Halloween table...
Here is a closer look. The butter beer was supposed to be less dark pink and more light brown. I bought the wrong type of creaming soda - the bright red raspberry kind! I will have to try that again one day. It tasted really good, even if it didn't quite look right.

The 'Wizard' above is Erica's gymnastics coach. He was making sure the children crossed the road safely and handing out rulers :)
Ethan later in the evening with some friends. Ethan did double trick-or-treating this year. He went out with us in the afternoon and then headed to a friend's party where they also went trick-or-treating. Needless to say he ended up with a lot of lollies - and still has a lot of lollies. Ethan doesn't eat sweets too quickly. There have been many times where I have ended up throwing out the remains of a party bag because he has left it in the pantry for a long time. It's the opposite story if you give Ethan pizza or Mexican food.
