Erica was a reindeer in her school Christmas concert. She did a great job and was responsible for ringing those bells on her wrist.
Erica received an award at the school presentation day. Her award was for 'Effort and Application'. We are very proud of Erica because she really did put forth a lot of effort this year.
I didn't take the picture above. About 5 seconds before Erica's name was called, Clara managed to dive head-first off her chair. She made a loud clunk on the wooden floor and burst into tears. I was in the process of leaving the hall with Clara when Erica's name was called out. Another Mum kindly took this picture and sent it to me.
Here is a better shot of Erica with her award. I placed the arrows on top.
Erica went to her first Zone athletics carnival. Here she is with some of her friends. There are about 30 girls in Erica's Little Athletics group and they make for a lovely bunch.
Erica performed in the end of year concert for her dance school. This is Erica's bat girl costume (except the shoes were replaced with tap shoes). Erica performed in jazz, ballet and tap. She even had a little solo in the jazz performance. Erica enjoyed herself thoroughly and is desperate to add in more classes next year. Erica has also been advanced another level in gymnastics and is doing some pretty cool (and very flexible bendy) things.
