Our little elf friend Jingle is back. I thought maybe Ethan and Erica wouldn't care too much about having Jingle around this year and Clara is a little too young to really understand. However, Ethan and Erica were very insistent that Jingle needed to reappear on December 1! They have taken most of the turns, making it very easy for me. Clara kind of understands what is happening. She calls him Jangles and calls out "there is Jangles" if she happens to see him but doesn't go hunting for him.
Our elf doesn't observe behaviour and report back to Santa (at least we have never emphasised that part). Our elf is more just a month long game of hide and seek and the kids love it! Ethan and Erica have come up with some great new ideas...
