Erica went to an ice-skating birthday party. She has been ice-skating before but it was years ago, so this was like starting all over again. The Birthday girl does ice-skating lessons every week and can spin around on the ice. None of the other children were very comfortable even moving in the ice-skates initially. By the end they were all doing much better and now Erica has been asking for ice-skating lessons. I don't think that will happen though because she would have to stop one of her other extra-curricular activities.

Erica made cupcakes for us for Valentines Day. I made the macarons in the background.
Erica also held a Birthday Party for one of her Beanie Boos.
Just a lovely picture of Erica after Church one day.
Erica was elected to the Student Representative Council (SRC) at school this year. She meets with the other students who are on the SRC and they discuss school matters with the Principal and teachers. Her job is to represent her classmates.
Erica also auditioned for her school choir and was selected. Only 20 children are in that choir, so Erica did really well. She was concerned after the audition that she hadn't made the cut, because they made Erica sing a solo (most of the children only sang within groups) and she saw a cross beside her name when she peeked at the teacher's list. We now think a cross must have been a good thing :)
