Erica lost two teeth in one night! That girl is really cleaning up from the tooth fairy.

Erica had her cousin Lucy visit for a sleep-over. They had a lot of fun together. Erica told me they were going to stay up all night talking. However, when I went in to check on them half an hour after bed-time they were both reading. About an hour after that they were both asleep. I found them the next morning in the lounge room snuggled under a blanket watching the Veggie Tales version of Queen Esther. It seemed like they both had a good night's sleep after all.
We have gone through a bit of a process with Erica's gymnastics recently. She will soon reach a point where she will be beyond the levels catered for at her current club. It was recommended to us that Erica switch to one of the best gyms in Sydney. She went and did an assessment and they invited her to join the competitive team at her level. However, this would mean twelve hours of training per week. This would soon become twenty hours per week (ie - four hours per day for five days per week). Beyond that there are gymnasts who train full-time and home-school.
David and I decided that this was a path we didn't really want to head down (keep in mind too that because of Erica's young age Clara and I would be accompanying her to all of those hours at the gym!). Erica would be very happy to spend all of those hours in the gym, but she was fine when we told her it unfortunately would be too difficult for the rest of the family. So for the moment Erica is back with her former club (which she really enjoys). She has also been invited to join a rhythmic gymnastics team, which seems like it could be a good fit. We're still looking into it.
