I'm not quite sure how this happened, but Ethan has turned 12. We are one year off having a teenager in the house, he starts High School next year and he's almost taller than me! However, it feels like he should still be a 4 year old running around at Preschool. Where is that remote control that lets me slow down life?
Ethan right after he had woken up on the morning of his 12th Birthday. He was born early AM, so by this stage he was officially 12.
Breakfast.

Ethan and Erica with the doughnut cake. Easiest Birthday cake ever! This was the cake Ethan had on his Birthday, but not his official cake. The one he really wanted was a salted caramel cheesecake, which we had once the Grandparents arrived.
A closer look at our doughnut creation. Ethan picked out the doughnuts he wanted. He chose to go out for dinner, so all up he made this a very easy Birthday for me to organise.
Hanging out on the couch watching one of his favourite shows. Life is very good on your Birthday.
Blowing out the candles of the 'official' Birthday cake later in the week. That is some serious candle-blowing technique with the clenched fists.
